Stella was the second of eight children born to Daniel Milas and Hannah Ann (Peck) Pickler, She married Fred Herbert Trexler and they had two daughters: Annie Lou and Mary Virginia.

CONCORD, May 9. Mrs. Stella B. P. Trexler, 36, wife of Fred H. Trexler of Gold Hill, Route 1, died in Yadkin hospital at Albemarle Tuesday night. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Pickler of New London, Route 1, she had taught in Rowan and Stanly counties. Beside her parents and her husband, she leaves two daughters, three sisters and three brothers. The funeral will be held Thursday at 3 o'clock at St. Matthews Lutheran church of which she was a member.
