NEW LONDON -- Warren G. Harding Pickler, 83, Kendall's Church Road, died Friday (Dec. 26, 2003) at Stanly Memorial Hospital, Albemarle.
Born Oct. 2, 1920, in Stanly County, he was a son of the late Daniel Milas and Annie Peck Pickler. Mr. Pickler retired from Concord Telephone Co. and had been a farmer. He belonged to Kendall's Baptist Church, where he was a former deacon and choir member.
Mr. Pickler belonged to the Cattleman's Association and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Odessa Talbert Pickler, and a sister, Cinda Coggins, New London.
Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Kendall's Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Johnny Lewis and the Rev. Dan Abernathy.
Visitation: None.
