Daughter of Richard Holliday James and Elizabeth Mills Lewis. She married William Taylor Mister on Aug. 23, 1856 at St. Peters Church in Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire, Wales.

The parents of 10 children, 9 living, they immigrated to the United States on Sept. 29, 1873. They settled in Platte Center, Nebraska, but six months after their arrival, her husband died. We have been unable to find his grave.

A widow with 9 children to support, soon the children were placed with different families, either as servants or as foster children.

She married two more times, first to William Lloyd, Oct. 21, 1874 in Colombus, NE, which ended in divorce in 1882; second to Willard Tyler on Jan 3, 1888. She had a son with William Loyd, Frederick Lloyd, who was adopted by John and Elizabeth Greisen. His name was changed to Henry Greisen.

She was visiting her children in Wyoming when she had a heart attack on the train in Cheyenne.
