Celebration of Life services for J. M. Haley, 87, of Lubbock, will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008, at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel. Burial will follow at Terrace Cemetery in Post.
J.M. went to be with his Lord on Aug. 17, 2008.

J. M. Haley was born Jan. 24, 1921, in Garza County, to O.F. and Emily Gadd Haley. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII; and was a lifelong farmer in Garza County.
He married the love of his life Jessie Marie Beard on Valentine's Day 1943, in Tahoka.
He was a member of 1st Baptist Church in Post.
He was preceded in death by his wife; a daughter, Lesa Windham; two brothers; and three sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Karen Burns and husband Fred of Pine Ridge, Ark., and Brenda Walker and husband Bill of Lubbock; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews
