Roger Garfield McLemore, 59, 3830 Alandale, Pascagoula - died Friday - Sept 5, 1980, at Singing River Hospital. Mr. McLemore was born March 28, 1921, in Philadelphia, Miss., and had been a resident of Pascagoula for ten years. He was a retired BTC Petty Officer, U.S. Navy Fleet Reserve and a member of Elmer J. Grand VFW Post No. 3373. he was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Johnnie Louise McLemore, Pascagoula; three sons, Don McLemore, Lexington, Miss., Terry G. McLemore, Jackson, and Timothy V. McLemore, Houston, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Teresa Ann Jones, Raleigh, N.C.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Sherry Eagan, Fayetteviille, N.C.; two brothers, Casper McLemore and Adolph McLemore, both of Philadelphia, Miss.; three sisters, Mrs. Opal Dyess, Philadelphia, Mrs. Charlotte Mason, Bushnell, Fla., and Mrs. Joan Moulds, Meridian; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be tonight, Sept. 8, at Holder-Wells Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Marvin Holifield and the Rev. Richard Burt officiating.
Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the National Cemetery in Biloxi.
