Sheridan Resident Is Survived by Nine Children
Joseph Garriffa, resident of Sheridan for 30 years, died at his home, 1046 North Main Street, Tuesday evening at the age of 53. He had been seriously ill for some time.
In addition to his widow, Mrs. Katerine Garriffa, he is survived by nine children, one brother, and one sister, five grandchildren and two nephews.
The children are Mrs. Frank Mediate of Sheridan, Mrs. Frank LaRose of Great Falls, Mont., Mrs. Nick Rulli of Youngstown, Ohio, Carmin, Mary, Ellen, Francis, Josephine and Phillip Garriffa, all of Sheridan. The brother is Phillip Garriffa of Coscob, Conn., while the sister lives in Italy.
Funeral arrangements wil be announced later by the Champion Funeral Home.
