In the early years of their marriage, Everett and Myrtle lived in a small house on Everett's father's farm. Then in about 1912, they moved to a farm Moosejaw, Saskatchewan, Canada. Several other couples from Madison County moved with them. In 1920, they returned to Madison County. For many years, they lived on the farm Everett's father had owned, and Myrtle was a good cook and housekeeper as well as helping Everett with some of the farm work. Her grandchildren remember many happy days staying with their grandparents on the farm. When Everett retired, they moved into Elwood. The last home they lived in was on E. Main St.
