Kathryn D. Black

Kathryn Delaney Black, 63, of 164 West Greene Street, Waynesburg, died at 10:49 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 1987, in her home after a long illness.

She was born June 25, 1923, in Wadestown, W. Va., a daughter of George A. and Ella King Delaney.

Her husband, Frank C. Black, died May 12, 1986.

Mrs. Black resided most of her life in Waynesburg, where she was a member of the First Christian Church. She was formerly employed at Greene County Memorial Hospital.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Charles [Dorothy] Foster of Waynesburg; a stepson, Charles F. Black of Radcliff, Ky.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Wood [Edna] Blair of Waynesburg, Mrs. William [Edith] Zimmers of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Walter [Mildred] Nelson of Holbrook; and two brothers, Hiram Delaney of Waynesburg and Leroy Delaney of Waynesburg RD 4.

Deceased are a daughter, Connie Sue Black; a stepson, Robert D. Black; a stepdaughter, Sarah Tharp; a sister, Bertha Delaney; and three brothers, William, Charles and Alfred Delaney
