Margaret Salvatore

SOUTHINGTON - Margaret (McHatten) Salvatore, 83, of Stuart Drive, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at Bradley Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Alphonse Salvatore.

Born on April 13, 1923, in Castle Hill, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Asenath (Littlefield) McHatten. She had retired from Cheshire Molding after 25 years. Margaret loved to crochet and go to tag sales. She loved and enjoyed her family.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Nancy Gelinas and her husband, Guy; a grand-daughter, Kimberly Gelinas, all of Prospect; a brother, Robert McHatten of Castle Hill, Maine; a sister Maude Allodi of Sarasota, Fla.; along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Robert Salvatore; three brothers and one sister.

The funeral and burial will be at the convience of the family and there are no calling hours. Donations may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church 121 Pleasant St. Southington, CT 06489.
