Robert M. Salvatore of 216 Stuart Drive died Jan. 29 at Veterans Memorial Medical Center, West Campus, in Meriden. He was 46.
He was born Jan. 9, 1949, in Southington, son of Alphonse and Margaret McHatten Salvatore.
Mr. Salvatore was employed by Hollywood Auto. In addition, he was a realtor. During the Vietnam Conflict, he served in the military. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church. He was a former member of the Connecticut National Guard.
In addition to his parents, he leaves a sister, Nacy Gelinas of Prospect; several uncles, aunts, cousins, a brother-in-law, Guy Gelinas of Prospect; and his best friend, Francine Nigro of Milldale.
The Della Vecchia Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Burial with military honors was at Oak Hill Cemetery.
