Mrs. Ada Kent, 68 years old, widow of the late Morland, died late Wednesday morning at the residence a mile and half south east of Rockville. She is survived by six children;, Mrs. Sterling Lynch, Wilburn, Shelby, William, Virgil and Bert Kent. One son, Elijah, died several years ago. Zemri, Andrew and Joe Lamb are brothers and Rose Magee, Mrs. Ellis Kent and Mrsl George Lewis are sisters of the deceased. Funeral services were Friday morning, conducted by Rev.S.K. NOTE: Dates on the gravestone for Ada and husband Israel Morland Kent are incorrect for both. Ada was born October 28, 1847, in Illinois not 1846 as indicated on the tombstone and she died February 13, 1918, Adams Twp. Rockville, Indiana not 1915 as indicated. She died of two illnesses per death certificate - Cerebral Hemorrhage and La Grippe. La Grippe was another term for the 1918 Pandemic called Spanish Flu.
