Henry Pulscher, son of Henry and Meta Pulscher was born at Freeport, IL on July 25, 1907. He moved to Flandreau when he was two years old with his parents and received his education in rural Tidd school. He moved to Montana where he worked on various ranches until he entered the Army during World War II. After his discharge he returned to Moody County and started farming. He was married to Mildred LaBrune on April 19, 1954 at Pipestone, MN. They moved to his present farm one mile east of Egan in 1955 where he has since made his home. He was a member of the Ss Simon and Jude Catholic Church, American Legion Post No. 97 at Egan, Izaak Walton League.

He is survived by his wife Mildred; 3 sons, Capt. Robert William Pulscher serving with the Army in Korea, Micheal, Springfield, SD and Patrick of Wisconsin; one daughter, Mary Pulscher, Desoto, IA; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ann Jones, Flandreau, Mrs. Marie Janssan, Fostoria, IA and Katheryn Pulscher, Flandreau; five brothers, Reiner, William, Arthur and Sheridan of Flandreau and George of Brookings. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.
