Rev. Carlos Gould Lowell was the son of Rev. Daniel and Louisa Baldwin Lowell. He was the husband of Harriet Frances (Babcock) Lowell. They were married August 14, 1866. Harriet died October 2, 1936. Rev. Lowell was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church: East Genesee Conference 1865 F 1867 Genesee (Western New York/now Upper New York) Conference by change of boundaries 1872 Central New York Conference by transfer 1873 East Genesee Conference at reorganization and to Genesee Conference by consolidation 1876. He was pastor of Angelica Methodist Episcopal Church 1892-1893. He served during the Civil War.
