Leona Lebsack

Leona L. Lebsack, 73, Loveland, died Friday, Nov. 7, at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins.

She was born Aug. 4, 1913, in Sutton, Neb., to Daniel and Lena (Herbster) Bauer.

On Jan. 20, 1932, she married John C. Lebsack in Loveland.

Mrs. Lebsack had lived in the Berthoud-Loveland area since she was 3 years old. She was a licensed practical nurse and worked at the Loveland Hospital and McKee Medical Center for 23 years.

She was a member of the Licensed Practical Nurses Association.

Survivors are her husband, John C. of Loveland; two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Johna) Diekman of Loveland and Mrs. Dale (Linda) Falk of Durango; a son Charles D. Lebsack of Fort Collins; six sisters, Ruth Bradford of Farmington, N.M., Mrs. Alfred (Edna) Magruder of Colorado Springs; Mrs. Delmar (Martha) Keil, and Mrs. Paul (Lydia) Keil, both of Greeley, Mrs. Earl (Louise) Williams of California, and Lorena Bauer of Berthoud, four brothers, Albert and Edwin Bauer of California, Daniel Bauer of Loveland and Samuel Bauer of Oklahoma; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home in Loveland. Interment will be in Loveland Burial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Larimer County in care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home.
