Children: William J. Beer, Jr. (23 Nov. 1890 - 22 Oct. 1957), Lester P. Beer (1892-1911), Geneva M. Beer (mar. Floyd Crider and Roy D. Wolgamuth), and Forest Ray Beer (12 Aug. 1895 - 18 Sept. 1944). Son Forest Beer is buried next to his parents, and son William J. Beer, Jr. is also buried in the same lot. Obituary in the Mansfield News-Journal of Fri. Dec. 22, 1944, pg. 11 states, he was age 84 and died at his home, 471 Cline Avenue, Mansfield, Ohio. Was a retired contractor. Survived by his widow, Mary; son William J. Beer, Jr.; daughter Mrs. Floyd Crider; brother Charles Beer; sisters Mrs. LeMoyne H. Porch and Mrs. John H. Miller; a son Forest Beer had died just 3 months before.
