Also surviving are his daughter and son-in-law Cynthia L. (Bruce A.) Dyer; his sons Timothy R. Pool and Jeffrey L. Pool, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren Justin N. (Sondra) Dyer; Jacob M. Pool and his fiancée Lacee; and Madison S. Pool; brothers John Pool; James (Josephine) Pool; Estel "Popeye" (Beulah) Pool; Harold "Wimp" Pool; and Michael Pool; sisters Helen McCullough and Ethel (Pete) Hill; and a sister-in-law Patty Pool. He was predeceased by infant twin sisters, brothers Robert and Larry Pool; and a sister Dorothy McCullough.
Frank has been a barber since 1955 and co-owner of Ater & Pool Barber Shop in Chillicothe before retiring in 2001. He was a Tank Sergeant in the Army during the Korean War. Frank was an accomplished musician and singer and he enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting, fishing, gardening, picking berries, and hunting mushrooms.
Services were entrusted to Haller Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
