Stover Funeral To Be Thursday
Funeral services for Mrs. Victoria Bennett Stover, 81, of 415 Paint St., will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Webb and Neal Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hayward Lough and the Rev. H. A. McClung officiating. Burial will follow in the Prosperity Cemetery.
Mrs. Stover died at 12:25 a.m. Tuesday in a local nursing home following a short illness.
Born April 18, 1881, she was a member of the First Christian Church and its Woman's Class.
Her husband, Lee Stover, preceded her in death in 1936.
Survivors include one foster daughter, Mrs. Ben M. (Dorothy) Guy of Granville Avenue; and one sister, Mrs. S. P. (Cora) Hight of Calloway Heights.
Pallbearers will be Nick Giompalo, V. L. Shumate Sr., Frank Walters, Leo Bridi, John Sikora, and John Curtis.
