Ruben Lungren (Died Oct. 5, 1980)
Funeral services for Ruben Lungren who died at Fort Meade Medical Medical Center Sunday morning will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Grace Lutheran Church with the Chaplain Herbert Cleveland officiating.
Burial will be in the Black Hills National Cemetery with military honors by the Newell America Legion. Arrangements are by Kinkade Funeral Chapel.
Ruben Lungren was born at Riverton, WY, Nov 26, 1921 and moved with his parents to the Vale area in 1927. He was married to Dorothy Reinhardt at Rapid City Jan 5, 1944. He served during World War II in the Marines. He has lived at Vale since that time.
Survivors include his widow, Dorothy of Vale; four children, Forde of Whitewood; Peggy Koval of Fairmont, WV; Scott of Rapid City; and Cindy of Vale; three grandchildren; and three brothers, David Lungren
of Sturgis, Manuel of Rawlins, WY; and Victor of Spearfish.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
