Funeral services for Mrs. Etta Womack, 79, were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. following her death Sunday night. She died at her home in Gaar's Mill community of a heart attack. She had been in ill health for a number of years.

Mrs. Womack was a native of Winn Parish and had resided at Gaar's Mill for about 50 years. Her husband, the late J. M. Womack, was a farmer in the community. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Jeter.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Burnis Parker and Rev. Joe Massey. Burial was in Harmony Grove Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.

Survivors include three daughters, Miss Lessie Womack of Gaar's Mill, Mrs. Mollie Gates of Dodson, and Mrs. Johnnie Parker of Rt. 3, Monroe; five sons, Lonnie of Gaar's Mill, Willie of Denver City, Texas, Harrison of Seminole, Texas, Harley of Dodson, and Lloyd of Gaar's Mill. Another son, Clayton Womack, preceded her in death several years ago.

Pallbearers were C. B. Gates, Bobby Ray Gates, Karl K. Womack, Jack Womack, Joe Womack, and James T. Hemphill.
