Funeral services for Loyd M. Womack, 56, were held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Harmony Grove Baptist Church in Gaar's Mill community. Mr. Womack died in Cheatham's Nursing Home in Mansfield Thursday, after a long illness.
Conducting the services was Rev. Lester Rhymes, with burial in Harmony Grove Cemetery under direction of Edmonds Funeral Home, Jonesboro.
Mr. Womack was a lifelong resident of Gaar's Mill community and was a member of the Harmony Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by four brothers, Harley of Dodson, Lonnie of Dodson, Rt. 1, Willie of Denver City, Texas, and Harrison of Seminole, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. R. W. Gates of Dodson, Mrs. Marshal Parker of West Monroe, and Miss Lessie Womack of Dodson, Route 1; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Bobby Ray Gates, Karl K. Womack, R. W. Gates, Marshal Parker, C. B. Gates, and Joe Keith Womack.
