Mrs. Beulah Hickman Willetts, 94, of Bolivia, died Friday, April 17, 1992, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Willetts was born on May 23, 1897, daughter of the late George Hickman and Elizabeth Robbins Hickman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Willetts, in 1970 and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Boiling Spring Lakes.
Surviving Mrs. Willetts are three sons, Guy Willetts of Oakton, Va., Alfred Willetts of Bolivia, N.C., Gene Willetts of Wilmington, N.C.; one sister, Mrs. Marjorie Willetts of Winnabow, N.C.; one brother, G.R. Hickman of Winnabow, N.C.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Boiling Spring Lakes, with the Reverend W. Avery Lumsden officiating. Mrs. Willetts will lie in state at the church from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Interment will follow in the Willetts Cemetery, beside the Mill Creek Baptist Church.
Casketbearers for the service will be the Deacons of First Baptist Church. Boiling Spring Lakes. The family requests those wishing to make memorials, please direct them to the First Baptist Church, Boiling Spring Lakes.
The family will receive friends at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service Funeral Home on Saturday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
