Finding Achsah and Charlie is really a true success story on how wonderful this site is. Our family knew these children existed from a couple of old photos and passed down stories but the information about where they were buried was lost to time along with the exact dates of thier life. Thanks to Jerry Van Herrin for creating these memorials and to Robert Strickland for the photos he posted they are now reunited with thier family.
William Oates "Bill" Covington Jr. had quoted my great grandmother as saying "We are not going to bury another child in Georgia." Those words rang in my head so I went and searched the Georgia cemeteries and there they were waiting to be discovered.
