Dozine was the twelfth child born to Jeff and Ella Capel Covington. Her name in itself is an indication of this fact. It is simply a derivative of dozen which is how this name originated. I do not know what her middle name was. The C may have stood for Capel but I have never seen it written out. I was told by her niece that she did not have a middle name.

Dozine and Robert spent most of their years together in Goldsboro, NC. She died from breast cancer when she was only 49 years old.
