Eranda was the fist child of Jeff and Ella who lived to be an adult. She was not given a middle name. She married Larry Leonidas McLendon Jan 10, 1910. They had 6 children.

Events of the week in Wadesboro Society

Next Wednesday night wedding bells will ring at the First Baptist Church. Miss Eranda Covington, the accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs Thomas Jefferson Covington, will be united in marriage to Larry Leonidas McLendon, son of Dr and Mrs, W. J. McLendon, The vows will be given by the pastor of the church, the Rev. T. W. Chabliss. The contracting parties are both prominent young people of Wadesboro, loved and with large circles of friends and relatives.
