Joseph J. Ballweg; Saturday, April 13, 1918, at his home in Topeka, Kans. A message was received by H.W. Ballweg of 418 East Union street announcing the death of his brother.

Surviving him are five sisters, Mrs. Mary Rappenecker of Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Louise M. Collum and Mrs. Josephine Dodge of Abilene, Kan.; Miss Anna Ballweg of St. Louis; and Miss Sarah Ballweg of Springfield; and one brother, Henry W. Ballweg of Springfield.

The remains were brought to Springfield for burial.

Funeral services were held from the residence of his brother, H.W. Ballweg, and from the Church of the Immaculate Conception.

Interment in Calvary.
