After the death of her husband, Sarah Jane (Wills) Karr moved out to Colorado Springs, CO with three of her sons and a married daughter, all buried here.

James Snail Karr b. 12 Feb 1861 MO m.ca. 1892 Mary 'Mollie' Russell, the daughter of Robert Parker Russell and Hetta Ann Venick. Mollie died in childbirth and is buried in Paradise Cemetery, Clay Co. MO.

Katie Karr b.ca. 1863 went to Colorado with her mother and is on the Colorado death index saying she died June 1885 in the County of El Paso there from 'consumption.'

William S. Karr Jr b. July 1865 MO married 18 Dec 1887 in Platte co. MO. Minnie Ida Newby, daughter of John Henry William Newby.

Charles Karr b. 2 Jan 1868 married 3 June 1891 Mary Elizabeth 'Mollie' Pancake, the daughter of Simon Bolivar Pancake and Virginia Carey Ligon. Charles and Mollie are buried in IOOF Cemetery, Smithville, Clay Co MO with their infant child b. 1892.

Louella 'Lula' Karr b.1871 married Pleasant Walker Middagh. (1920 census Lula Middagh Colorado Springs, CO has her widowed mother Sarah Jane (Wills) Karr) with her. Buried here in Evergreen Cemetery with her family.
