"Mrs. Amanda Alexander, 67 years old, a resident of Leavenworth for more than a quarter of a century, died at 4 o'clock yesterday morning, at her home, 1815 South Broadway, after a brief illness. Mrs. Amanda Alexander was born in Missouri forty-eight years ago she came to Leavenworth and since that time this city had been her home. Besides the husband, Edward Alexander, the following sons and daughters survive her: William, John, Edward, Jr., Boon, Walter, Mrs. Maude Ballard and Mrs. Elizabeth Wood.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the Bethel church, west of this city.
The funeral procession will leave the residence at 12 o'clock. Burial will be made in the Bethel cemetery."
