Clara Virginia ‘Ginny' Chandler Richards went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 23, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. She was 87.
Ginny was born December 3, 1921 in Salina, Kansas to the late Ralph Lewis Damiano and Agnes Louise Carson Damiano.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton James Chandler.

She retired from Sears Roebuck, Inc., but the nucleus of her life was her family and children. She loved to write. She wrote several short stories and words of wisdom, including, ‘The Straight Skinny ‘, by Ginny.

Survivors include Milton Robert Chandler, Michigan, Ralph Darrell Chandler, Galena, Kansas, Clarke Lane Chandler, Arizona, Arrisa Joanne Chandler, Joplin, Paula Denise Charlton, Galena, Kansas; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Walter Wesley Autry.

Graveside services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Macedonia Cemetery, Stella, Missouri. The family will receive friends following the services Thursday at the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Avalon Hospice, in care of Parker Mortuary.
