Erma Lee Jane Damiano was born April 12, 1924, at Wilmot, Kansas, and departed this life February 22, 1933, age nine years, ten months and ten days. A pang of sorrow went to the hearts of the whole community when the message came that this pure young life was taken from our midst. Just a month ago her sister Frances preceded her in death and about two years ago her sister Betty was called away.
Erma Lee was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Damiano. She leaves to mourn her a father, mother, five sisters, Mrs. Mary Dannenfelser, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Mrs Florence Dee and Mrs. Alica Rowe of Douglass, Virginia and Eloise ( her twin sister) at home; two brothers, George and Raymond at home and numerous other relatives and friends
Funeral services were held at the Congregational church conducted by Elder Cecil and Rev. Watts.
Musical numbers were rendered by the Richland Male Quartet. Interment was in the Douglass cemetery
