"Samuel Christensen, 64, well-known Sugar House Merchant, died Thursday at 12 noon at his home, 931 Wilson Avenue.
Born in Draper, Utah, Nov. 16, 1873, a son of Soren S. and Camilla Olsen Christensen. Mr. Christensen moved to Salt Lake City 45 years ago and since that time had been affiliated with the B&C. Market in Sugar House.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Isabell Spillsbury Christensen; three sons, Dr. Eugene L. Christensen, Los Angeles; Dr. S.W. Christensen, Airdale, Calif., and Dr. Milton S. Christensen, Salt lake City; and two daughters, Mrs. Charles N. Stillman, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. S.L. Draper, San Francisco.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 12:30 p.m. in the Richards Ward, with Bishop Harry T. Oscarson officiating. Interment will be in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park."
