Mrs. E. L. Wormelduff, wife of the late H. W. Wormelduff, died at her home 1215 South Ninth Street Monday at 1:40 a.m. after an extended illness She was born Dec. 30, 1852, in Kentucky, and came to Texas in 1877, living in Troy until 1919 and in Temple since that time. She has been a member of the Methodist church for many years.
She is survived by five daughters: Mrs. Denny Neal of Temple, Mrs. Veston Rogers of Temple, Miss Mattie Wormelduff of Temple, Miss Maude Wormelduff of Temple, Mrs. E. C. Cass of Haskell, Texas; two granddaughters, Mrs. R. H. Montgomery of Fort Worth, Mrs. Joe Bouldin of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Mrs. Necie Cummins and Mrs. Mattie Ford of Kentucky. Five grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at the Seventh Street Methodist church Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J. L. Davenport of Troy, assisted by Rev. R. H. Boyd of Temple. Burial will be in the Pendleton Cemetery. Hewett in charge.
Active pallbearers will be W. R. Talley, O. L. Mathis, Joe O'Connor, W. H. Tucker, D. F. Henson, K. A. King.
