Son of Henry Russell LYSHER and Catherine "Katie" Alice MCCLELLAND. Lewis changed his last name to BARNUM, because he worked with the circus for awhile, before he married his wife.

Lewis H. Barnum Services Friday

Lewis H. Barnum, 59, died Tuesday afternoon in Kelsey hospital in Lakeview after a brief illness. Mr. Barnum was born in Albion, Indiana, Sept. 25, 1892. He came to Michigan several years ago and had recently lived on a farm three miles south of Morley. He is survived by five sons, Lawrence of Chicago, Leo and P.T. Barnum of Morley, Harry of Coopersville, and Donald of Grand Rapids. There are six daughters, Mrs. Joseph Abel of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Francis DeVries of Marion, Mrs. Henry Thorsen of Big Rapids, Mrs. Bill Gordon of Grand Rapids, Mrs. James Detmer, Ft Knox, Ky., Gloria B. at home. He leaves one sister, Mrs. Leo Congdon of Flint, and there are ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held from the Rogers Funeral Home Friday afternoon at 2 O'clock and interment will be made in Pine Plains cemetery.
