a lifelong resident of Saco, died at noon today at his home after a long illness. His age was 56 years, 9 months and 22 days. He was an electrician by trade, and was known by a large number of friends in both cities.
He was born in Saco, the son of James and Almeda (Mason) Sweetser. He is survived by one brother, Aaron of Saco and several nieces and nephews.
During World War I, he served in the U.S.Navy, returning to Saco at the close of the war.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 pm at 253 Main Street, Saco , and will be private. Friends may call between 12:00 and 1:00 pm.
