He was a retired sales associate at El Campo Tire Center and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a past Grand Knight. During the past eight years, he assembled 10,000 rosaries and donated them to the Missions or anyone that needed them.
Survivors: wife, 1 daughter, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren,
