Odessa dingler, 66 of Kirby died in Pike County Hospital in Murfreesboro March 15, 1979.
She was born in Pike County February 4, 1913, the daughter of Otha Turner and Nora Della Ward Turner, and was a Protestant.
Survivors include her husband: Floyd Dingler of Kirby; one son: Leonard Dingler of Kirby; one daughter: Mrs. Ernestine Welch of Glenwood, three brothers: Luther Turner of New Hope, Virgil Turner of Glenwood and Paul Turner of Houston, Texas; three sisters: Mrs. Beedie Babbitt of Kirby, Mrs. Adell Linville of Heavener, Oklahoma, and Mrs. Tollie Shores of Indiana; and two grandchildren.
Services were Marcy 17 in the Salem Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Chronister officiating assisted by the Rev. Robert Spencer. Burial was in Salem Cemetery by Davis Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Aaron Dingler, Harold Dingler, Glenn Moss, Francis Killian, John Plyler and John Wayne Plyer.
