MRS. C. FRINGS DIES AT LEONORE
MOTHER OF NINE CHILDREN TO BE
BURIED THURSDAY MORNING

Mrs. Charles Frings, 59, daughter of the late William and Franceska Frangenberg,
died at her home northeast of Leonore at five o'clock Monday evening, following
three weeks of complications. She was born June 13, 1875, on the Frankenberg
homestead, and on Mary 20, 1902, was united in marriage with Charles Frings.
They were the parents of nine children, one of whom preceded the mother in
death. Mr. Frings is left, together with six daughters, Mrs. Frances Schmitt,
Wenona; Mrs. Cecelia Lenhausen, Leonore; Mrs. Elizabeth Naughton, and Mrs. Helen
Rinker, Grand Ridge, and Godfrey, Clements, Ida and Lucy at home. There is a
brother, William Frangenberg, at Marcus, Ia., and eight grandchildren. Two
brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
Mrs. Frings was a devout member of S.S. Peter and Paul church and also
affiliated with St. Ann's Sodality. She was a kind mother interested in the
welfare of her family.
Funeral services will be held from the home at 8:30 o'clock Thursday morning,
and from S.S. Peter and Paul church at nine. Interment will take place in the
Richland cemetery. (St. Peter and Paul cemetery)

AWAY MONDAY, LAID TO REST.
LEONORE--FEB. 15--The funeral of Mrs. Charles Frings, held Thursday morning, was
very largely attended showing the high esteem in which the deceased was held.
The following nephews acted as pallbearers: Peter, Selvi and Levi Frankenberg,
Lawrence and Henry Mueller and Vincent Meyer.
William Frankenberg of Marcus, Iowa, the only surviving relative of the
immediate family, was in attendence as were many from the neighboring towns,
members of St. Ann's Society attended in a body. Rev. Kliensorg sang the
requiem high mass.
