Mrs. Sallie Griffin

Gloucester - Mrs. Sallie W. Griffin, 95, of Ware Neck, died Wednesday in Walter Reed Memorial Hospital, Gloucester.

She was a member of Union Zion Baptist Church, Ware Neck.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Cora G. Lockley, Mrs. Martha G. Williams and Miss Alvera V, Griffin, all of Gloucester, Miss Rosa F. Griffin of Washington and Mrs. Elsie G. Williams of Baltimore; seven sons, Charles Griffin, Thomas Griffin and Collins Griffin, all of Ware Neck, Morris Griffin and Alfred Griffin, both of Philadelphia, Christopher Griffin of Upper Marlboro, Md., and Arthur Griffin of New York; and 21 grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday at Union Zion Baptist Church.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The body will be placed in the church by 11 a.m. Saturday.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Gloucester Rescue Squad.
