Jasper Girard Hull was the eldest son of George Washington Hull and Artissma Scribner Hull, and was reared upon the family farm just north of Cardington, Morrow County, Ohio. Married to Mary Jane Monnett, the couple were the parents of six daughters, Attie, Amina, Imogene, Blanche, Bess and Bernadine. Jasper eventually became involved with the natural gas boom in Findlay, Ohio. The family home in Findlay is now the Hancock County Museum.
