Clarann Renn Moores, 86, of Westport died at 1:49 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital at Beech Grove.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Rev. Gary East officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at Westport Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana through the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Bernard D. Moores of Westport; a son, Jerry L. (Mary Ann) Pearcy of Rockville; a daughter, Coreasia L. Lind of Iron Mountain, Mich.; sisters, LaDonna Steed of Silver City, N.M., and Maefern Amos of Marana, Ariz.; a brother, Paul Renn of San Diego; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Lloyd D. Moores.

Clarann Renn Moores, 86, of Westport died at 1:49 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital at Beech Grove.

Mrs. Moores retired in 1982 from General Motors after 37 years of service. She attended Walnut Grove School in Jennings County from 1927-1929. After graduation from Sheridan High School she attended Indiana Central Beauty College, and graduated from there in 1939. A resident of Westport since 1989, she previously lived at Sheridan, Indianapolis and Milwaukee, Wisc. She was a member of the South Decatur Baptist Church.
Born in Clinton County Dec. 28, 1921, she was the daughter of John C. and Opal M. Martin Renn. She married Bernard D. Moores Nov. 7, 1952, at Indianapolis. He survives.
Other survivors are a son, Jerry L. Pearcy of Rockville; a daughter, Coreasia L. Lind of Iron Mountain, Mich.; two sisters, LaDonna Steed of Silver City, N.M., and Maefern Amos of Marana, Ariz.; a brother, Paul Renn of San Diego, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Lloyd D. Moores; a sister, Mardella Elmore; a brother, Atheara J. Renn; and a grandson, Kenny Brewer.
