Percy Coleman Bowen was a respected entertainer and teacher of Expression in Hyattsville, Md. He married Laura Lee Dodd of Waterfall, Virginia, and they lived in the Bowen home in Hyattsville, and reared their children there. They had the following children: Lottie Bowen (Mathias), 1888, James Harrison (Harry) Bowen, Allan S.Bowen, Mary Rosalie Bowen (McCullough), and Percy Prettyman Bowen.
