A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 1997, in Oregon City United Methodist Church for Henry A. Tschopp Jr., who died March 30 at age 92.
Mr. Tschopp was born Nov. 24, 1904, in Lower Logan. He was in charge of daily operations at the Clackamas Greenhouse. He also farmed and traded cattle. His wife, Nellie May Lawrence, died earlier.
Survivors include his daughters, Hazel Bernert of Portland, Celia Knowles of Milwaukie, and Gayle Scheer of Gladstone; sister Clara Marchbank of Milwaukie; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Pleasant View Pioneer Cemetery. The family suggests remembrances to the cemetery at 16256 S. Hattan Road, Oregon City, Ore 97045. Arrangements are by Holman-Hankins-Bowker & Waud.
