She was the daughter of Eugene walker and Maggie Ralay Thompson Walker. She married Frank Peay December 20th 1899 and they had 3 sons named Paul, Willie and Clyde.

Peay,Mrs. Maywood-(Widow of the late Frank Peay) of Tinnon Road, Goodletsville,Saturday evening Jan.2,1971 at Madison Hospital. Survived by sons Paul, J.W. and Clyde Eugene Peay,all of Goodletsville; seven grandchildren; sisters. Mrs Al Skeen, Berkley, Mo., Mrs Eulis Lenoir, St.Louis, Mo.;Brothers, Carl and Phillip Walker, both of Nashville Tn.
remains are at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodletsville,where services will be conducted Monday morning, Jan. 4,at 10:30 o'Clock by Rev. R. Edward Pugh.
Pallbearers:Monroe, George, Billie,Joe, and Nickie Peay. Robert Butler, Buist Dillard,Richard Choate, Richard Fay and Raymond Ferguson. Interment Lutons United Methodist Church cemetery.
