Trenholm Boykin, 79, died Saturday in a Summerville nursing home.
Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Sauls-Rhame Funeral Home. Burial will be in Briner Cemetery.
Mr. Boykin was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Nelson C. Boykin and Carrie Grooms Boykin.
He was a retired farmer. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Holly Hill.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Minnie Lee Way Boykin; two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle B. Pennington of Williston and Mrs. Doris B. Rogers of Holly Hill; six sons, Alfred Lee Boykin of Moncks Corner, Palmer M. Boykin of Summerville, Ervin Boykin of Holy Hill, Jasper O. Boykin of Columbia, Roy M. Boykin of Vance, and Jimmy C. Boykin with the Army in Korea; two sisters, Mrs. Vivian Rhodes of Moncks Corner and Mrs. Clara Burbage of Summerville.
