Funeral services were held Saturday . morning, October 24, 1992, from Saulters-Moore Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Louise Brent, 71, of Silver Creek, who died October 22, 1992, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Rev. Joe Royalty and Rev. Buck Rester officiated. Interment followed in the Cliburn Cemetery with Saulters-Moore Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were Donald Walker, Mike Walker, James Blackmon, Charles Martin, Ron Hernandez and David Berry.
Mrs. Brent was a native of Lawrence County, daughter of the late Cabe Sexton and Martha Keen Berry. She was a homemaker and a member of Crooked Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, J. A. Brent; one son, Calvin Brent of Braxton; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Walker of Magee, Mrs. Janise Leach of Milton, Fla.; 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, three brothers, Eual Berry of Panama , City, Fla., Spurgeon Berry of Terry, Joezeal Berry of Hazlehurst; five sisters, Mrs. Pauline Armstrong of Jackson, Mrs. Ina Bell Cottrell of Elmhurst, Calif., Mrs. Ester Thornhill of McComb, Mrs. Virginia Brabham of Liberty, Mrs. Ellen Sills of Pearl.
