Buried Here Sunday


Services for Barbara Ruth Coffey, 11 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Coffey of Tishomingo, Okla., were held at the grave in Green Hill cemetery, Davis, Sunday, at 4 p.m., Rev. H.D. Ragland, Methodist pastor officiating. She was laid to rest beside her brother, Clifford, who died August 5. 1928.

Barbara Ruth passed away at Tishomingo at 5 p.m. Friday, March 2. She had been sick about 30 days, her illness starting with influenza, and running into pneumonia. She was born in Sulphur, Nov. 8, 1933.

She is survived by her parents, two brothers, Harold and Albert, both overseas with the Third army, and three sisters. Mrs. Pearl West and Wanda Jean Coffey, of Tishomingo, and Mrs. Mary Louise Worder of Amarillo, Texas.

Attending from out-of-town were: Mr. and Mrs. Albert Baxter, Mr. and Mrs. Elijah Coffey and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Webb and children, Mr. and Mrs. James Coffey and son, Mrs. Henry Harris and Mrs. Grady Bishop of Oklahoma City; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Harmon and son, Mrs. Henry Cops, Mrs. Albert Coffey and daughter, and Mrs. A.F. Cops and sons of Davis, and Mrs. Jane Newman of Los Angeles, Calif.
