Funeral Services For Former Davis Man Sunday

Funeral services for Walter Curtis Coffey, age 68, who passed away in La Harbra, Cal. August 15, 1955 will be held at 2 p.m. at the Methodist church with Rev. Chas. E. Hoole officiating.

Mr. Coffey died of a heart attack, while on his way home from work. He was born in Denton County, Texas Nov. 21, 1887, spending his early life around Roff. He lived in Davis for 25 years before going to California, where he had been the past 9 years. He was a member of the Methodist church of Davis. Also a member of the Tyre Lodge No. 42. Survivors besides his wife, Mrs. Clara Coffey, include 2 sons, Harold E. of Whittier, Calif. And Albert C. of Davis; 3 daughters, Mrs. Roy West of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Eddie Werda of Norwalk, Calif. And Mrs. Al Crappo of La Harbra and 9 grandchildren.

Interment will be in Greenhill Cemetery with Bahner Funeral Home in charge.

There will be Masonic services at the graveside.
