Andy Prater, 62 of Broken Bow, OK, passed away Saturday August 29, 2009 at the Broken Bow Nursing Home, Broken Bow, OK. He was born January 14, 1947 in Yuma, AZ the son of Alvie and Leona (Shelton) Prater.
Andy was preceded in death by his father and mother Alvie and Leona Prater; three sisters, Bernice, Virginia and Joyce and one brother, Kenneth.
Andy loved spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Andy is survived by one son, Troy Prater, Broken Bow, OK; two daughters, Kimberly Ross, Idabel, OK and Stephanie Miller, Sandy, OR; two brothers, Melvin Prater, Montrose, CO and Terry Prater, Broken Bow, OK; three sisters, Esther Evans, Broken Bow, OK, Patsy Vancil, Idabel, OK and Lila Highful, Broken Bow, OK; nine grandchildren, two
great-grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews and friends..
