PROMINENT LADY DIES
A telephone message reached Wiggins today to the effect that Mrs. Cola O'neal, wife of Van O'neal, died this morning at about 9 o'clock of influenza.
Their home is in the south-east part of this county, but we learn Mrs. O'neal was at the home of her son-in-law, Dr. Murray, down in Harrison county, north of Biloxi, at the time of her sickness and death.
They are well known and prominent people and have many friends and relatives in the two counties who will be shocked to learn of the sad and sudden death.
Besides her husband she leaves several children, one son being in the American army in France.
To the bereaved ones we offer our deepest sympathy.
