Theodore Brandt, 78, who has been inill health several months died at his home in Reinbeck Monday afternoon, Feb. 25th.

Theodore Brandt was born in Reinbeck, September 7th, 1883 and spent his life in Reinbeck.

He was married to Marie Thiessen, March 2nd, 1910, and the couple observed their Golden Wedding in March of 1960.

The couple lived in Reinbeck coummunity during their married life. Theo. was at one time in business in Reinbeck with his late brother, Henry, in the bowling alley and billiard parlor on west Main street. He has been employed at many jobs and was a school house custodian many years.

Theo. was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, four brothers, one son, Donald. He is survivied by his wife and three sons: Allan and Robert of Reinbeck; Lester, Lake Zurich, Illinois; three daughters Florence Davis, Longmont, Colorado; LaVerna Murphy, Hudson; Irma Johnston, Ringsted, Iowa; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, also one brother, Otto, of Traer.

Services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Thursday, February 28th at the Congregational church and burial in the Reinbeck cemetery. The body will be at the French Funeral Home until 1:00 P. M. the day of funeral.
