He made a brave struggle and managed to support himself and wife" (BN 1 June 1899:8) Funeral was, 2 June (HW 7 June 1899;6) His widow expressed her thanks for help especially to the Modern Woodsmen. (HW 14 June 1899:5) Mrs. Collins and children left on the 18 July 1899, for the home of her father in St. Louis Missouri. (BN 20 July 1899:8)
